Photoshop Corner Update

Jennifer has updated Photoshop Corner with instructions on how to create the Orton Effect. Be sure to ckeck it out and if you've never done an "Orton" give it a try! Club members should have recieved an email from Jennifer about the update. Be sure to send her your preferences about topics for her upcoming Photoshop workshop at the December 2nd meeting.

New Projector Purchase

Purchase of the new Optoma TX615 digital projector from Camera Kingston was approved unanimously at last nights meeting. Thanks to the members who presented last night .... great stuff!

Web site changes

Made some changes (mainly to the Welcome page) - reduced the font size and removed the photo for now - due to readability issues at various screen resolutions and with different browsers. Newbie error :) Hopefully this takes care of it .

Juried Exhibit opening

Our annual Juried Exhibit images are hanging in the lobby of the Brockville Arts Centre for the month of October. The theme is "Reflections" . Check out some wonderful images and the newly renovated Arts Centre.

Many thanks to the judges: Kingston Photographic Club members Bruce Millen and Bruce Gunion as well as Prescott photographer Mike Laking. We had the pleasure of seeing "The Two Bruces" at the opening.

Juried Exhibit hanging

Belated thanks to Ghislaine and her crew of volunteers for doing a great job hanging the images at the Arts Centre. Ongoing construction work and less cables to hang on than expected made it a challenge!
